When we were kids, we used to make our own Christmas cards and send them to our friends. Inside, we would write: "Money's short, times are hard, here's your blooming Christmas card".
Though we're all grown up now, the sentiment is as relevant as it ever was; there's a global economic crisis going on, and many of us - consumers and businesses alike - are starting to worry about how we can have an enjoyable Christmas on a tight budget.
That's what Keep Christmas Cheap is all about... it's a way for consumers to find and share ways to keep their Christmas costs down, and for businesses to advertise on a lower budget (that's because we provide ridiculously cheap advertising; it's a way for us to help businesses advertise without spending a fortune).
We like to think of Keep Christmas Cheap as part campaign, part community; what we all have in common is a desire to enjoy Christmas without breaking the bank (and let's face it - the banks are doing a pretty good job of breaking themselves at the moment; they don't really need any help from us!)
